I am currently the in-house graphic designer and digital marketer for Linea Inc; a high-end interior design showroom in Beverly Hills. Examples of animated content I have created for Linea include web banners, short product promo videos, event videography and more. Below are a few examples of animated web banners Linea has used for past promotions.
Interactive web content for an Instructional Design internship at the Center for the Advancement of Digital Resources in Education (CADRE), in Butte County, CA. Math Vs Myth (top slides): This is a simple interactive slideshow with minimal animations, created to keep users involved and active while consuming the content;
Livable Wages (bottom slides): The text on the left is an example of provided material. My job was to turn the numbers and text into interactive visuals that could be easier to understand. These visuals were embedded directly on the website to correlate with the lesson plan.
Ligne Roset is one of the few brands exclusively represented at Linea. Last year the manufacturer threw an “in-house” competition for the exclusive showrooms in the United States, to promote the company core values. I coordinated and advertised a pop-up event with artist Desire. Obtain. Cherish. to promote the Non-Conformist core value, winning the competition. Below is a promotional video created for social media.
In addition to non-conformism, showrooms were to promote the core value of Livability. We were directed to show how the unique designs of the pieces were intuitive to users and their habits; making them livable. Below are two videos out of a ten video series released throughout the promotional month.
In my spare time- when I’m not designing, I like to consume all things street art! I’ve gathered quite a decent following on The Instagrams (@gnichols2), with my coverage throughout Los Angeles. Below is a promotional video I’ve made to (help) sell a recent set of pieces I’ve created, featuring rapper A$AP Rocky.
